Become a Nationally Certificated Medical Assistant. Medical assistants are critical to healthcare teams! A Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting the physician with patient care as well as being responsible for administrative and clerical tasks. 

Detailed clinical work includes:

  • Patient Prep & Assessment
  • Injections
  • Vitals, Triage, Point of Care Tests
  • Intro to EKGs
  • Sterilization Techniques/Procedure set-ups
  • Basic Instrument Recognition
  • Back Office Medical Charting
  • Medical Terminology for the Doctor’s Office
  • Preplanning Patient Visits
  • Basic Anatomy & Physiology

Virtual Classes Available! Classes are live online via Zoom.
Online students must be able to attend class on campus once per month during Clinical Medical Assistant Program.
Students must be available at the designated class time to “attend” the class virtually.
Students must have access to a digital device with internet access, an email address, camera and microphone capabilities.
