EKG Technician
Prepares Students for National Certification
EKG Technicians play a vital role in physician offices, hospitals, clinics, and other healthcare facilities. Their specialized knowledge can also aid insurance companies in providing data for health and life insurance policies.
Program Includes:
• Detailed Anatomy & Physiology of the heart
• Introduction to components, function, and proper use of the EKG machine
• Medical disease processes & terminology
• The normal anatomy of the chest wall for proper lead placement
• Medical ethics & legal aspects of patient contact
• Medical Terminology
• 12-lead placement & other practices
• Electrocardiography
Virtual Classes Available! Classes are live online via Zoom.
Online students must be able to attend class on campus once per month.
Students must be available at the designated class time to “attend” the class virtually.
Students must have access to a digital device with internet access, an email address, camera and microphone capabilities.

Medical Assistant plus EKG Technician
